Author: Home Owners’ Associations have been struggling to collect fees from non-owner occupied properties. In many cases, the HOA can place liens on the property and foreclose on the property to collect the HOA dues.
The new law will allow HOA’s to collect their fees directly from the tenant, with the remaining balance of the rental payment going to the owner.
